Education Ministry

As Christians, we must challenge ourselves spiritually in the study of God’s Word. Keeping a fresh relationship with God is important. River Bend provides several opportunities for you to devleop spiritually through Sunday Morning Bible study, weekend retreats, and home Bible studies.
Sunday School Classes

Classes are available for every age Sunday mornings.

Awana

This is an excellent program known nation-wide to develop Biblical knowledge and spiritual growth.

Bible Drill

New this year, we are offering a progrm for children in 4th and 5th grade to learn their way around the Bible and understand basic Biblical concepts.

Jump Start

Youth grades 6th – 8th are encouraged to join this energetic time of worship on Wednesday nights.

Cliffhangers

Youth grades 6th – 8th meet in cell groups located in various homes on Sunday nights.

Adult Bible Studies

Various Bible studies are offered on Wednesday and Sunday nights.

Two New Sunday Evening Bible Studies begin January 8, at 5:30 p.m.

Read the Bible for Life – A 9-week, DVD-driven study showing how the sixty-six books of the Bible fit together.  Participants will learn ways to read, study, and apply Scripture in a life-changing way.  There is a $12 fee for the workbook.

Presence - A 6-week, DVD-driven study exploring how God is at work in our lives while looing at the life of Moses.  Some of the topics covered are:  Presence of God – Experiencing God – Finding God – When God is silent – Fear of God.  There is no cost for this study.

New Wednesday Evening Bible Study begins January 11, at 7:00 p.m.

Life and Ministry of the Messiah – A 7-week, DVD-driven study that shows how and why Jesus made such an impact on the world through His three years of ministry.  There is no cost for this Study.

New Women’s Bible Study begins Tuesday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m.

Finding Contentment in Times of Stress – This is an eight-week study on stress busters for women.
