Check out what’s happening around the Bend!

When is a Bible study class more than a Bible study class?
When it is a ZOOM Bible study class!!!
I am so happy that our Sunday morning Adult Bible study classes are on Zoom. Last Sunday our men’s class, our senior adult class and Tom Irwin’s class were on Zoom and 68 people joined. That’s incredible! Especially when you consider that one of the people who attended was Victoria George who lives in Nigeria.

God‘s Word will always flourish no matter what circumstances we find ourselves in. That’s why we need to study, learn and apply His Word to our lives. If you were not a part of one of the Sunday Morning Adult Bible Studies and want to be, email me at, and I will make sure you receive an invitation.

Join in the Zoom Bible studies so you can hear Gods Word, see your friends, and wear your slippers all at the same time. That’s almost miraculous.

National Day of Prayer is this Thursday, May 7!
Because of the coronavirus, we’re having National Day of Prayer online this year on Thursday, May 7, any time of the day at
Five different city pastors and a combination of worship leaders from the city will “live-stream record” the prayer and worship service from Kingsland Baptist Church (the original host) earlier this week. We will then post it online at midnight so that people can pray along any time of the day they choose on the National Day of Prayer (May 7).
It’s important, now more than ever, that we unite across denominational lines to pray for our city and nation, for an end to the coronavirus, and for spiritual revival and awakening.

Mother’s Day ~ Guest Speaker – Lori Joiner
Lori Joiner, has been a guest speaker for our Women’s Ministry, and she will be our special guest on Mother’s Day, May 10th. You will be able to watch and hear Lori’s special message during our regular Sunday morning Facebook live broadcast. It is going to be great, so invite some people to watch.
