Hello River Bend family,
Sunday’s Facebook and Instagram live event was so much fun, and at our peak, we had a 123 households viewing our broadcast at one time. Many of you told me how much it felt like you were with family. The truth is, we are family and together we will get through this. If you wish to view the service again, click here!
I want to encourage you to continue to check River Bend’s Facebook and web page for messages about River Bend events. Yesterday our national, state and local authorities asked us to limit our social meetings and interactions until April 10th. As much as I will miss seeing each and every one of you, I believe we should follow the recommendations of our leaders. Until April 10 we will suspend all regularly scheduled events including worship services, Bible Studies, AWANA, Mpact, and Fusion. All committee and organization meetings will be postponed until a later date. We are currently planning online studies for adult and youth beginning this week and River Bend Kids has a new Facebook page that is up and running with family activities and Bible study! Click here and request to join!
As we enter into another week of uncertainty, I want to remind you of what Psalm 91:1 says:
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
No matter what happens in this world, God is our refuge and our fortress, in Him you will find rest and peace. During troubling times, choose to rest in God’s presence and peace.
