Notary for Permission Forms

Sunday, April 21

Before and after worship a notary will be available to notarize RBStudent permission forms.  A notarized form is good for 2 years! Permission forms are required for offsite events including Second Sunday Lunch, Camp, Mission Trip and more! 

Youth Mission Trip Cram Session

Friday, April 26, 6:30-9:00 pm in the Youth Building

The youth mission trip team will have an intensive time of training to prepare for this summer New Orleans Mission Trip.

Sunday Evenings: 4:45 pm - Trek & Journey, 5:45 pm - Mpact & 6:45 pm Youth Praise Band Practice

Worship Wednesdays meet in the Youth Building at 6:30 pm weekly.

RBStudents - Youth Ministry of River Bend

We want all of our youth to know Jesus Christ and to find their ultimate joy and satisfaction in Him. We have designed our youth ministry to deepen understanding of the greatness of our God, and to give encouragement in the pursuit of godliness. River Bend offers mission trips, camps, and retreats for the purpose of outreach to the lost and internal growth to the willing. We offer worship experiences, music, and creative ways of expressing one’s love to God the father, His son and the Holy Spirit. We at River Bend build strong spiritual lives on the unshakable, unchanging foundation of Jesus Christ and His teachings, with Sunday morning Bible studies, and Wednesday night youth worship services.

Youth Mission Trip & Pineywoods Summer camp

Youth Mission Trip to New Orleans is June 23-29. 

Cost per student is $315, the family multi-student cost is $290/student.

Payment schedule: Feb. 7 - $75, April 10 - $120, June 9 - $120 or remaining balance.

Pineywoods PowerPlus Youth Camp is July 8-12.

Cost per camper is $350.

Payment schedule: Feb. 28 - $75, March 13 - $125, May 29- $150 or remaining balance.

Students are encouraged to participate in Fundraiser Lunches on March 3, Rodeo Sunday, and May 19 to earn funds to apply to 

their Mission Trip  and/or Summer camp costs.

RBSTUDENT SUNDAYS

Sunday Morning Bible Study meets at 9:00 am in the Youth Building for grades 6-12.

Trek & Journey (Jr. High & Sr. High Bible studies) meet Sundays at 4:45-5:45 pm  in the Youth Building. 

Trek (6th-8th grade) and Journey (9th-12th grade) programs  answer questions about God, Jesus, and the Bible and apply those answers to students’ lives through an engaging Bible study.  Trek and Journey put their faith into practice by participating in mission projects throughout the year.  This program is part of AWANA.  The students participatiing in Trek & Journey will be recognized in the end of year AWANA Celebration.

Mpact (Youth Choir, Puppets & Signing) meets Sundays at 5:45-6:45 pm in the Youth Building.

Throughout the year, students have the opportunity to lead in worship through youth choir.  The choir and drama group meets on Sunday nights at 5:45 PM in the youth building.  Each year, participants take a mission trip to make a difference in the name of Christ.  

Youth Praise Band practice is Sunday nights at 6:45 pm in the Youth building.  

The Youth Praise Band leads worship for Wednesday's Youth Worship at 6:45 pm.  We have 2-3 Youth Led Worship Sundays in our morning worship at 10;30 am each year.

We encourage students attend this high energy worship service geared toward their specific needs.  Youth are led in worship by our student-run praise band.  God’s Word is presented in a devotional format that challenges and encourages students in their faith.  Games and fun events are included in this high impact hour and half.  Wednesday Worship is for all youth in grades 6 through 12.

First Fridays – Fun and Fellowship on the first Friday of each month 6:00 – 7:30 pm in Youth Building.

Guys Bible Study - First Sunday of each month at 3:00 pm in the Youth Building. Resumes: TBD

Girls Bible Study - First Sunday of each month at 3:00 pm in E2.  Resumes: TBD

Second Sunday Lunch– Join us for lunch after worship on the second Sunday of each month 12:00 – 1:30 pm. Students go to a local restaurant together for lunch after service and return at 1:30 pm for pick-up at the Youth Building.
