Compensation: $800 Monthly Stipend; Other fringe benefits

Schedule: Flexible – Typically 15 hours a week; Sunday and Wednesday Nights

 Summary:

River Bend Baptist Church is looking for a small cohort (2-3) Children Ministry Residents as we seek to help train the next generation of Family and Discipleship leaders. We’re looking for creative, enthusiastic, and hardworking future leaders who are looking to explore a career in ministry, gain valuable experience, and desire to make a lasting and positive impact in children’s lives and in the life of a local church.

Children Ministry Residents will be given a $800 stipend, access to on campus office space, a flexible schedule, hands-on training, and more.

We are interested in training future leaders with a heart for ministry, even if your long term aspirations are not directly related to Children’s Ministry. If you’re the right fit, we customize the program (schedule, reading, mentorship, etc.) around your strengths, availability, and desired outcome.

 
 The Ideal Candidate:

• A current student (undergraduate or graduate level) enrolled in a ministry-related degree seeking program. Or, young professional in a gap year, utilizing the internship program strategically.
• Strong preference to those with desire to serve in the local church as a lifelong career.

• Relational, outgoing, teachable, personable, approachable, warm, and enthusiastic
