Worship at River Bend

Our purpose is to encourage people as they develop a relationship with God and others through Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Ministry.

When we, as a church family, gather together, the Worship Ministry leads us into a time of praising God. We bless God through music, interpretive movement, or multimedia. Throughout the year, we present special times of worship as we observe seasonal themes or special events. We have choirs for all ages.

Worship Service

Sunday morning is a time when we celebrate the new life found in an intimate relationship with Jesus. We celebrate this relationship through a time of blended worship and a variety of worship experiences. Join us on Sundays at 9:00 am for Sunday Morning Bible Study and 10:30 am for Worship Service.

Praise Team

Each Sunday morning the Praise Team of River Bend Baptist Church leads an exciting time of blended worship. The Praise Team is an auditioned group that rehearses on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm.

Praise Band

The Praise Band is a vital part of our worship ministry on Sundays and other special events. This auditioned group rehearses on Wednesdays at 5:45 pm. New instruments welcome!

River Bend Choir

The River Bend Choir, a non-auditioned group, leads in worship each week and for special concerts and seasonal presentations. If you have a song in your heart, this is the place for you. The choir meets each Wednesday at 6:30 pm.

Mpact (Youth Choir, Puppets, And Signing)

Throughout the year students grades 6 through 12 have the opportunity to lead in worship through the youth choir, puppets, and signing. The choir meets on Sunday nights at 5:45 pm in the Worship Center.

Youth Praise Band

Youth Praise Band practice is Sunday nights at 6:45 pm in the youth building. The Youth Praise Band leads worship in Wednesday night’s Youth Worship at 6:30 pm.

M5:16 (Missions, Music, Ministry)

Children’s Choir is designed to introduce kid-friendly music that praises God. This group is part of the RBKids M5:16 – Missions, Music, Ministry – Wednesday class that meets at 6:30 pm.
